Tonala Chiapas 2005
Sometime in September
of 2005 La Esperanza familia decide to do a charity event to help the people of
Mexico. We pick Chiapas de furthest state in Mexico it is the border of
Guatemala. The hurricane season of 2005 had punished this area tremendously.
SO… La Esperanza would donate 10% of our profit for 10 days. But we will bring
this donation personally. And we did, Alejandro flew to Mexico city then drove
about 18 hours from our home state of Puebla to Tapachula Chiapas. He bought
some despensas (basic food packages) and will personally deliver them to the
poorest area of Tonala Chiapas. Alejandro claims that this was the most
rewarding experience of his life. He kept a journal of this wonderful
experience. I invite you to read it….it is a little long
